What I Kept
Why?
Blue Pleated Dress: I bought this dress for a wedding I am attending in November.
- Liked: Floor length, and the fit was comfy and loose, but tailored. If paired with nude heels (what i tried it on with), it would’ve been perfect for the wedding.
- Didn’t Like: Might be see through, BUT have to walk outside tomorrow in the daylight to confirm. STAY TUNED!!!!
- **Update: I AM wearing this dress to the wedding, and it is NOT see through!! Hahaha I was worried, but I am so happy it worked out. I am pairing with nude heels, and a nude colored bag.
- Liked: Floor length, but buttons went to right below the knee which I LOVED. Tailored fit and looked great with little black booties and a black bucket bag.
- Didn’t Like: See Through!
- Liked: Length went right above the knee, the linen blend fabric makes it a great Fall transition piece, and it paired well with over-the-knee boots and booties. Size: M (I usually buy a size small, but in their sizes I usually size up one for length, or for a fit that I prefer).
- Didn’t like: N/A
- Liked: Fabric is so soft, and the style reminds me of a classic leather jacket without the leather. The jacket fits more tailored, and sits right at the waist. I also love the color!! Size: M (I usually buy a size small, but in their sizes I usually size up one for length, or for a fit that I prefer).
- Didn’t Like: The shorter jacket style is still something I am getting used to. I’ve had leather jackets in this style before, and I think it’s just a comfort style adjustment for me.
Full Disclosure…
Shoutout to my cousin C.P. !! I’ve been trying to expand my wardrobe a little bit, and when I received a ZARA gift card for my birthday back in June (Thank you C. Family!!), I was excited to kind of be “forced” to do it. I had gone on ZARA’s website before, but I’ve always had a hard time when shopping there because it’s not my usual style, and going out of that comfort zone is HARD! C.P. took time out of her day, went on ZARA’s website, and picked out items that she loved and thought I might like. She then made a whole PowerPoint for me, with “why” she chose what she did, just to make it easier on me. From there, I chose items out of that “line up”, and purchased.
Thank you and love you C.P. xo
